Respect

on September 5, 2012

1/2 PW are showing respect in lots of different ways.

Thomas feeds the cat every day.

Henry listens to his parents.

Gabriella gets ready when her Mum asks her.

Luca uses his manners by saying “Please” and “Thank you”.

Ashton feeds his dog in the morning.

Jacob and Hayden set the table for dinner.

Charlie does what his Mum and Dad tell him.

    Hello 1/2PW,
They are great things to show respect. We try to do most of them at home.
How do you show repect at other places? Like the Shopping Centre or at school?

Grace said she does all your great suggestions at home except for feeding the dog because she is not allowed to.

      Dear Mrs Fitt and Grace,
      Thank you for your comment.
We still continue to show respect to others at the shopping centre by listening to our parents, using our manners, walking with our grown-ups and asking before we pick things up.
We show respect at school by listening to the speaker, taking turns, sharing and cleaning up after ourselves.

It is great to hear about what you are doing. Is this in religion or inquiry?

Thank you Kai. We loved your comment!
We have been learning about resiliience. It means to bounce back when some thing goes wrong.
Respect and resillience are in Reliigion but we can practise them for the rest of our life.

Thank-you Miss Gale. We worked hard on the bright colourful poster and now we are learning about resilience.
